Dr. Naira Musallam heads Research and Development for North and Latin America at YSC, Ltd , a business psychology firm, where she supports the expanding Americas business in the areas of innovation, research and analysis with clients in various sectors including finance, energy, insurance, pharmaceutical, luxury goods, media and technology, and other services. Naira has worked in the research and development space for over ten years, consulting with academic institutions, governmental agencies, nonprofit organizations, and the private sector on a wide range of projects.

Her work has encompassed identifying, developing, and conducting cutting-edge research in academia (specifically, in the area of complexity science), designing, delivering and consulting on best practices related to survey design, program evaluation & assessment, and data analysis and presentation. In addition, she has had extensive experience working in the field of negotiations, mediation, and sustainable development in conflict zones.

Naira received her Masters degree in Clinical and Counselling Psychology, and her doctorate in Social-Organizational psychology from Columbia University. She continues to serve as an adjunct faculty at Columbia University and New York University and United States Military Academy at West Point where she teaches graduate level courses including Applied Research Methods and Understanding Behavioral Research, Middle East & National Security, Human Security, and Negotiations, Diplomacy & Peacebuilding.
