Martin Epstein

Marty Epstein has been practicing nonviolent communication (NVC) since 2002 and has given workshops at the UN, New Hope Community Center, The Center for Mind, Body Medicine, The Center for Women’s Health, and The Natural Gourmet Culinary School. He has brought NVC in the form of collaborative communication to an investment bank and worked with a team of NVC professionals on a project for a major pharmaceutical firm. In addition, Epstein has facilitated a core team at Medgar Evers College in understanding and practicing customer service throughout the college community.

He is the Principal of effective conversation (www.effectiveconversation.com), which offers services for companies, groups, couples, and individuals in mediation, coaching, teaching, and training. Epstein has an M.S. degree from Columbia University in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution. One of his interests is studying Sanskrit, in which he has been teaching an introductory course for the last 20 years.
